Llosgfynyddoedd! Volcanoes!
Rydym ni wedi gwylio llosgfynydd yn ffrwydro! We watched a volcano erupt!
Roedd y plant wir wedi mwynhau creu llosgfynyddoedd eu hunain heddiw.ac maen nhw wedi gofyn imi i rannu'r cyfarwyddiadau gyda chi er mwyn ail-wneud yr ymchwiliad adref! Bydd angen : Potel blastig, finegr, bicarb, lliw bwyd, jwg.
Yn gyntaf, rhowch 1 llwy de o ficarb yn y potel yna ychwanegwch y finegr gan ddefnyddio jwg neu gwpan. Sefwch nol tra bod y 'lafa' yn dechrau ffrwtian. Yna, gwyliwch y lafa yn saethu allan o'r botel! Cofiwch, mae'r mesuriad finegr yn effeithio y ffrwydrad-mae mesuriad mawr yn achosi ffrwydrad mawr!
The children really enjoyed making their very own volcano today. We mixed vinegar and bicarb in a bottle and watched the lava shoot out! They were very eager for me to share the instructions with you so that they could repeat the investigation at home.
You will need : plastic bottle, vinegar, bicarbonate of soda, food colouring and a jug/cup.
first, measure one teaspoon of bicarb and pour into the bottle. Add the vinegar using a cup or a jug. Stand back whilst the bicarb and vinegar begin to react and then watch the 'lava' shoot out! Remember the more vinegar you use, the bigger the volcano!
