Wythnos 6 / Week 6:

Rwy'n gobeithio cawsoch chi gyd Hanner Tymor hapus a chyfle i fwynhau'r haul hyfryd!  Isod fe fyddwch chi'n dod o hyd i ddogfen gyda'n dasg ar gyfer yr wythnos nesaf, sef 'Helfa Cyferbyniol'.

I hope you all had a happy Half Term and a chance to enjoy the lovely sunshine!  Below you will find a document with our task for the next week, 'Opposites Scavenger Hunt'.

Wythnos 5 / Week 5:

Beth am geisio plannu blodau neu llysiau wythnos yma?  Efallai rydych chi wedi bod yn helpu plannu yn yr ardd yn barod! Hoffwn i eich bod chi'n ymarfer y geirfa Cymraeg isod yn ymwneud â phlannu.  Ydych chi'n gallu esbonio beth roedd angen gwneud i blannu'r hadau?  Sut mae'r planhigyn yn newid wrth iddo dyfu?  Cofiwch i ddanfon lluniau ohonoch chi'n mwynhau er mwyn rhannu - rydyn ni'n dwlu eu gweld!

How about planting some flowers or vegetables this week?  Maybe you have already been helping to plant in the garden!  I would like you to practice the Welsh vocabulary relating to planting below.  Can you explain the steps that you needed to take to plant the seeds? How does the plant change as it grows?  Remember to send some pictures of you enjoying for us to share - we love seeing them!

Wythnos 4 / Week 4:

How about practising your cutting out skills this week?  Having strong hands will help you to practice writing!  Here are some pages below for you to colour in and cut out.  Also, there is a page of additional ideas to help you practice cutting out skills.

Wythnos 3 / Week 3:

Beth am greu mwgwd neu het y Lindysyn Llwglyd?  Ydych chi'n gallu ail-ddweud y stori?  Efallai gallech chi ddanfon fideo bach ohonoch yn dweud eich hoff darn o'r stori i ni rhannu?

How about making a mask or hat of the Hungry Caterpillar?  Can you retell the story?  Maybe you could send me a short video of you saying what your favourite bit of the story is for us to share?

"Fy hoff rhan o'r stori oedd..." - "My favourite part of the story was..."

Wythnos 2 / Week 2:

Ein thema newydd ar gyfer Tymor yr Haf yw 'Yn yr Ardd'. Rydym ni'n mynd i ffocysu ar y stori 'Y Lindysyn Llwglyd Iawn'.  Mae copi Cymraeg o'r stori isod a hoffwn eich bod chi'n ei darllen gyda'ch gilydd wythnos hon.  Beth am ddysgu ambell air Gymraeg am bryfed efallai byddwch yn gweld yn yr ardd hefyd?

Our new theme for the Summer Term is 'In the Garden'.  We will be focusing on the story 'The Very Hungry Caterpillar'. There is a Welsh copy of the story below and I would like you to have a look at it together this week.  How about learning some Welsh names for insects you might find in the garden as well?

Wythnos 1 / Week 1:

Yn anffodus, dydyn ni ddim wedi gallu parhau gyda'r rhaglen Pori Drwy Stori yn ffordd roeddwn i'n gobeithio. Ond, dydy hynny ddim yn mynd i'n stopio ni!  Wythnos hon, hoffwn i eich bod chi'n edrych ar y posteri isod a thrafod y cwestiynau ynddynt.  Mae sylwi ar a defnyddio'r lluniau yn llyfrau yn gam bwysig o ddechrau darllen.  Dyma'r fath o gwestiynau gallwch ofyn gydag unrhyw llyfr rydych chi'n darllen gyda'ch plentyn er mwyn iddynt ddeall y stori yn well.  Ar ôl edrych ar y posteri, beth am fynd ati i ddarllen llyfr a gweld beth yr ydych yn gallu sylwi am y lluniau ynddynt? Mwynhewch!

Unfortunately, we haven't been able to continue with the Pori Drwy Stori programme in the way that we had planned. However, that isn't going to stop us!  This week, I'd like you to have a look at the poster below and discuss the questions.  Noticing and using the pictures in books is an important step of learning to read.  These are the types of questions you can ask with any book you are reading with your child in order for them to better understand the story.  After looking at the posters, how about going to read a book and see what you notice about the pictures in them? Enjoy!
